My driveway is available for the boat.
I don't know if the house would be available or not. Is anyone interested?
Also, will there be a LAN party?
logistics havent been figured. and its not really fair when a lan party is slotted during the camping. should we have a pool party, should it be moved earlier to be followed by a lan or is that too much? I liked the schedule of last year camping after the friday night pool party. Why the change? all the super geeks went to the lan instead of the camping trip, i think. i dunno i went to the lan. dunno if there'll be a lan this year. every member of enhanced is awol, including myself. and it was usually held at the pants place.

On Saturday or Sunday? The only reason it takes me and my girls most of the day to get out there is we have to get ice and the camping groceries. Maybe this year we could split up the tasks and round up the money for maybe a volunteer to go to walmart? That would save alot of time getting up on the lake. Thats a good idea. Last year we had a head count and bought accordingly. Everybody chipped in so that helped alot. After breakfast my family could go set up camp and get the boat prepped for the walmarters to arrive. Any volunteers?

agreed. and the idea of boating/camping on friday and spilling into saturday would eliminate killa's need to stop at walmart thus causing us to get to the lake too late. check out time at most campgrounds is 12pm, which means we'd have a good bucket of time before the pool party and/or lan (if there is one) also agree with ikono. do we really need to lan? it seems like with the pool party and camping there is always the need for one more night that we dont have.

Any volunteers? of course. we can break it out by meals when it gets closer and have people stop by and pick stuff up depending on when they are coming up, etc. and even if i need to drive over to park city to get stuff, i dont mind.

Done. i think emily and i have some family outing at bear lake one of those weekends, i'll have to find out which one How soon can you two find out? agreed. and the idea of boating/camping on friday and spilling into saturday would eliminate killa's need to stop at walmart thus causing us to get to the lake too late. check out time at most campgrounds is 12pm, which means we'd have a good bucket of time before the pool party and/or lan (if there is one) ? I just know that a few people didn't really want to take a day off during the week to go camping is all. We still need to go to walmart the day we head up camping. So we will still need someone to go the day of the first camping, what ever that day will be. killa, we had discussed doing the events backwards last year. i dont really care which way, but it always seems like im in a rush after camping and super tired. I dont remember this but okay, lol. After we go camping won't we be tired for the lan and Frosty's pool party also? Camping during the week would eliminate any kind of crowd for sure.

camping on thurs is if we (meaning your family and mine) get into town that day. thats why theres a ? after thurs. without a doubt my trip takes a huge chunk of a day, so regardless i'll probably leave on thursday to get up there.
if we camp on friday, isnt that considered the weekend after workday is done? even if we get up there before the people that choose to take a day off or whatever, we have time to set things up for the night. that way we have all day on saturday to boat without causing people to make stops anywhere. after we're done boating we can go to the hotel or where ever we're staying to settle in, then go to the pool party or whatever is planned.
its just an idea. i dont really care if we do the way we have done, but it seems like we lose so much of the day just getting up there and setting up.
i knew you wouldnt remember talking about it, thats why i think the group that is for sure going should make the decision on what they think works best for them.

if we're gonna go boating, let's get the boat on the water before 6 pm ^.~ This was the answer I was trying to address. The full day boating on Saturday sounds fun and a good idea. We are probably planning on leaving Thursday and setting up camp thursday. Two nights camping turned int one? Two boating days turned into one also? Thats fine too. Powders comment was referring to the first day on the lake. Usually the Saturday. If we have no one up there to boat I wouldnt mind just taking my family there boating and camping so that all the prep work is done for the Saturday Boaters to come up. Either way is good to go. So the pool party is going to be Saturday night then?
