Yeah, didn't they just barely change that this session to make it legal? I can't remember but it seems like it was some sort of flaw in a different law that made it technically illegal before, not an actual law specifically banning it. I know my brother-in-law used to make beer every year for his birthday; my sister complained it made the whole house smell like beer. Hasn't Beernut always sold home brewing equipment?

That's not just a Utah theme. Taxes on Cigs in New York are in sane. Yeah but in UT the tax wasn't enough, they wanted the complete retail profit so they eliminated the competition through legislation. Not anymore....it was.

so coming from los angeles, here's what ive observed about the great state of utah
1. a membership fee to a nightclub is a cover charge. they really arent gonna remember you a month from now. 2. bitches be crazy. i heard someone tell me a story about some lds chick stealing his car. that is not the way to win love you crazy ladies. 3. the beer sucks. not that i drink beer any longer, but im still gonna get the same amount of drunk if i drink my 6 pack here in cali, and a 12 pack in utah. its just gonna cost me about $3 more to get california-esque drunk. why make the beer less? WHY?! 4. there is almost no melting pot of food. 5. all the good shit is closed on sunday. i found this also to be common with NC, GA and AL. (UT is not in the bible belt. please stay open) 6. ive never been to a gay bar in california. ive been to a gay bar in utah. they had belly dancers. wtf is wrong with that picture? 7. the snow is amazing. i will always stand by this. 8. im pretty sure that the concerts in the summer in SLC are the funniest times ive had getting drunk in public. and i say this confidently because in vegas you're allowed to have open container and make a spectacle of yourself. 9. i can say the word f**k as many times as i want in LA and not get as good as a reaction as i do in UT. 10. there will ALWAYS be a storm on jordanelle if oPg is around. 11. Utah has taught me that squeaky cheese is your friend and that the best peppermint ice cream in the world is made by the Aggies. 12. there is a shitload of undeveloped land between st. george and slc - i think theres no time like the present to make use of your land. if its for farming, wtf are you farming? 13. your great lake smells like shit. 14. i understand that the lds religion is important to you - and i find it fascinating on my own terms and time - thank you for not suffocating me or even bothering me with your beliefs. 15. just because you live 30 miles away from slc, i'll come visit you.

It is Utah... what did you expect? You do realize that it was founded by Mormons...

Yes but she also stated that it should stay open because its not in the "Bible belt."
