Denver will be better, 18 man, no maintenance like a personal box, cheaper, more central.  it'll repopulate, put on generally good maps (including some older ones and some cevo ones too).

get out of LA.

The question is just who will help "continually" pitch in?

Icey - $25
Jmo - $25

Who else?

I think it would be great to switch to denver, might bring some east people back to the server.  I also think it would be a shame to shutdown the 18 man Rotation and switch it to a 24+ person pub.  In my opinion, its just really hard to get pubs popular cause there are sooooo many of them. I will try to throw some money in whenever i can.  I've been completely broke for the past two months, but ill talk to my parentals about getting some form of revenue for the things i do around the house.  Hopefully we can sort this out soon. If we switch I'll help fund it. How much depends on how much I have at the time.

Or we should all just give up and realize that CSS has finally lost its popularity...   Its over guys.. sorry to be the downer... but CSS is dead.

i think CSS will die when they stop making Bond movies..................... that said, i don't play CS anymore.

Hell, If you guys get a NFO 2000fps server then I would even think about pitching in when I could and I am sure alot of other people would as well just because the difference a 2000fps server makes. Our match server is a 2000fps server and I wouldn't even consider it any other way.  That right there should be enough to draw a larger population... but just my 2 cents.

I still don't really notice any difference between a superhyperwtfpwnacclerated server and a stock 100-500 FPS server. But whatever gets more people into the server I guess.

I don't know if 2000fps is available in denver so we may want to look at dallas also.  Cause i am almost positive it is there.

Didn't you all read laby's articles about CSS servers.

No difference is made by increased 2000FPS.  Don't pay more for nothing but a title.

Silly..

I agree 1000fps is probably realistically all that is ever needed.  But most GSPs are not too great in my opinion I have had the best luck with the NFOs.   When you have 1069 Kb/S download speed and 492 Kb/s upload speed you can notice the difference a 2000fps server makes. So just remember that when you people are saying there is no difference when you have gobs of bandwidth at your disposal.

Wow what a lame guide...  I've been playing source since '03 and regular CS for long before that so I don't think I need a guide to tell me that the higher the server fps the higher the supported player limit will be LMAO.
