I heard its actually dead on and that it just is a bit too honest for singles in their late 20s to early 30s.
Ditto, which is why I was relatively interested in seeing it. At the same time I heard it was too tame to really lampoon anything.
ok, because i could not possibly give the movie away here's what its about: (btw, i hear the book was pretty much nothing like the movie)
a girl in her late 20's early 30's that is the 'psycho girl'. wants to know every detail about everything. 'am i supposed to call you or are you supposed to call me?'
a married couple - early 30's that is starting a new chapter in their life. she wants the family, he thinks he got married too soon
the single guy perfect package - cant figure out why a girl wont settle down with him
the single perfect package girl - she casually dates a dude because he's 'safe' and adores her
the working woman - doesnt have time to find actual love, so she uses the internet
the relationship couple - couple has been together for like 7 years. she wants to get married, he thinks marriage isnt an important thing and she already has his commitment.
the dude's dude - knows chicks so well that he has the ability to sweet talk any girl
i would say that anyone can identify with this movie.
