No, I'm not posting this as a flaming comment towards Harry Potter and the fans that love the book... But, Dumbledore is actually gay.. According to the books author. my truthful answer to you... I always thought of Dumbledore as gay
She went on to say that she thought Dumbledore had fallen in love with Grindelwald, a Dark Wizard he defeated in battle in 1945, which possibly made it forgivable that he had not seen Grindelwald's true nature, because "falling in love can blind us to an extent. Whoa. Explains a lot really. A real person with a character like Dumbledore's would have been suspected right away, and possibly of other things involving his students, but in a children's book he was just a lovable old man. I'll never look at him the same again. Jake will probably want to burn my HP books now. lol

Hold on. did we ever expect anything different? he was seriously eccentric, even for a wizard, and he dressed very well. You never heard about his wife, or a love or anything but you did know he hung out with a good looking blonde wizard in his younger years. Come on. I like the idea that he is gay. Thats cool. It would mean that the wizarding community is leaps and bounds ahead of the commons, as far as that goes.
Dumbledore owned shit. he had it covered. this doesnt negatively affect his badassery.

Next we're going to have grown wizards coming forward saying that they were molested by him when they asked him to help them learn how to handle their wands when they were young. I don't think this makes the magical world leaps and bounds ahead of anyone as there are probably more than a handful of gay headmasters at private schools here in the real world. Especially of the variety that never just outright tell you they are gay.
