Yes, reading a book where the author has to tell everyone that a character was gay because no one could figure it out on their own due to the complete lack of any reference to homosexuality will make your children gay.

Now on this topic... doesn't one actually have to preform the act before being said "gay" .. Or "straight" even.. I'd say until you've done it you're not one or the other..
I mean, just because I say I'm an X-Wing Fighter Pilot doesn't actually make me one... Until of course I fly one and blow up the death star...

No. Not according to the dictionary definition of homosexuality, anyway. 1 : of, relating to, or characterized by a tendency to direct sexual desire toward another of the same sex
2 : of, relating to, or involving sexual intercourse between persons of the same sex The second definition agrees with what you just said, however, the first one defines it as just a desire. Considering homosexuality is based on sexual preference, I would say that you do not have to actually commit the act to be homosexual. |

K...The subtle mention of homosexuality within this novel read by millions of youth across the globe could result in the discreet implantation of homosexuality within the minds of our youth without their parents (or guardians) or even themselves knowing so. You might want to put that note in your sig.  You are often serious, so when you throw in a subtle sense of sarcasm most won't get it. I hope that millions of boys turn into homosexual wizards. That would make Decker very happy. It would mean he could be their leader and there would be more women for him when they are of age. |
