I’m going to sum this game up in one word:
Awesome!
The first thing and kind of the best thing is Nintendo didn’t mess with or change the game much. The game has been amazing since it’s birth - so this was good. Almost all the levels are levels from other versions of the game (DS, GB, GC, SNES etc) I haven’t really seen any oringal tracks. But, the tracks are awesome. Another thing that is the same is the boosts - so, you can do powerslides (or drift) around a corner and build up your boost.
As you probably know, the game uses the Wii-Wheel that you plug your wii-mote into. So, you will have to fork out for that. I actually went to the store and spent about $100+ to get this rocking (2 extra wiimotes, 3 wheels and the game (which comes with a wheel)). But, the wheel is a lot of fun.
Also a new thing with the game is you can now have bikes race. This is cool because you can actually pop wheelies when you are racing. This gives you a boost, but you don’t turn as good and you can get knocked over easy.
Another cool new feature is you can do tricks while in the air. Once you hit the ground you get a little turbo boost. But, when you do the trick though it’s kind of hard to control while in the air and you hit the ground going fast.
Lastly another feature is the online play - and I don’t know anybody who has a wii, so don’t know well this plays.
Overall — 8.7/10
