The whole Fable series has one eternal flaw and genius: Molyneux. A man responsible for the genius and broken promises of Fable and a man who may be responsible for more broken promises in Fable 2. Don’t worry, though, in typical Molyneux fashion, he has gone off spouting amazing, fantastical bullcrock. To give him credit, he did apologize for his “atrocious mistakes” with Fable.
We’ve got plans for Fable 3, 4, and 5 actually. It’s a big story arc. You can see – if you play Fable 2, you’ll recognize things from Fable 1. So, that’s pretty exciting. But there is another project at Lionhead that we’ve been working on a long time. It’s kind of the result of an experiment that went incredibly well and we thought, ‘this has got to be a game.’ We can’t say anything about it at all.
Oi vey, 3, 4, and 5? How about we wait to see how 2 turns out? If this man could control his tongue, the Fable series could have easily become a great sleeper RPG. Although, with Molyneux it’s become a mediocre RPG series with an infamous spokesperson. At least he’s passionate about what he does.
Very, very, very passionate.
I’m interested in this secret project, though. We know Molyneux has been ranting and raving about a Fable MMO for a a while, but I doubt that’s it.
